This is the second year
model and final Mercury built motor made for Montgomery
Ward. It is basically a KB-1 Mercury but the cast
aluminum gas tank is a unique design for this model. I
purchased this motor from a NY collector in 1973. I
finally got around to working on it in 2005 and have had
it running but I feel it needs new main bearings to run
as it should.
